Johnny (Jonn) has been writing since he was 14 when he wrote sketch comedy with his friend David. Multiple submissions to every conceivable film and TV outlet over the years showed him that if he was going to get his work in front of people then he needed to do it himself.
Fortunately, this realisation came around the same time as the birth of YouTube. This resulted in many projects that were very successful, given a very specific set of conditions. These included the sketch show, Dr Munkins Island of the Man-Eating Cheese, the Film Flickers movie review show and the retro computing, gaming show RE:Enthused.
After meeting Erica Miller they decided to create Roguegunners Productions, named after an old gaming clan that Johnny used to be part of, mainly so he could re-use the domain. Under Roguegunners they produced several of Johnny’s pieces, including the award-winning shorts, modern fairy-tale ScreenTime and the sci-fi film Control.
